It forms a handsome star-shaped rosette of leaves that are spotted with prominent white dots (called tubercles) that really stand out against its dark-green leaves. It bears small, white flowers on tall, thin flower stems in spring. The flowers aren't particularly showy. A very easy-care indoor plant.
