"Controlling Grubs and Other Lawn Insects Safely and Organically"

Grubs have been a big problem throughout western Massachusetts. They do damage to lawns, creating large dead patches. In severe infestations, the grass can be peeled back like a carpet, revealing the grubs. In addition to damaging lawns, grubs also feed on plant roots in the garden as well.

The best way to get rid of grubs in the lawn and garden is to apply Milky Spore Powder Grub Control. It is a safe, organic, long-term control of grubs. I put it down in my own yard about 20 years ago and haven’t had a problem with grubs since. I heard from a gentleman that put it down once 60 years ago and it’s still working.

The reason the chemical grub treatments often don't work is because the grubs have gotten resistant to the chemicals. Milky Spore Powder Grub Control is a naturally-occurring bacteria that infects only grubs and the grubs do not get resistant to it. Once applied, the bacteria quickly spreads throughout the colony of grubs, constantly “mushrooming” and that’s how you get the long-term control of the grubs. It pays for itself in only two years of conventional grub control and it works.

As a bonus when you get rid of the grubs the moles that have been ruining your lawn go away and the birds and skunks that have been making holes in your lawn will leave it alone. Because beetles come from grubs, you’ll have fewer beetles flying around eating your flowers in summer. Milky Spore Powder Grub Control only affects grubs and is safe for people, pets, wildlife, and the environment. It is non toxic and the lawn can be used safely after treatment.

Milky Spore Powder Grub Control comes in a can (each can treats 2,500 square feet) and is easy to apply and it starts working right away. You simply walk through your lawn and gardens and drop a teaspoon every four feet in a grid pattern throughout your entire yard and then water it in for 10 minutes or put it down before it rains.

You can apply Milky Spore Powder Grub Control any time – it can be applied before, after, or at the same time as my Organic Lawn Weed and Feed and Herbicidal Soap Spray or any chemicals you’ve already applied.

"Getting Rid of Weeds in Lawn and Garden"

Q. I read your article on your Organic Lawn Weed and Feed. I wanted to overseed my lawn and was wondering if I could put it on before or after. I already have dandelions. Will it take care of them? Also, I have tons of maple seedlings coming up through mulch in flower beds. I almost want to give up! Thank you

A. Don't give up - I can help! Here's what you need to do: Within the next few weeks put down just one application of Organic Lawn Weed and Feed on your lawn and garden. It contains a safe and natural, slow-release lawn food that will fertilize the lawn making it green up fast without burning and help the lawn fill in without having to reseed - with it overseeding is unnecessary. At the same time the organic weed preventer it contains will stop the weeds like dandelions and crabgrass from sprouting.

There are a few things I like about this new product. Organic Lawn Weed and Feed is an easy, one-step organic lawn care program that you only need to apply once a year in spring. It's all I use throughout my entire lawn and garden. You can apply it yourself with either a drop spreader or broadcast spreader. Both the weed and feed ingredients are totally safe and natural. It is safe for people, pets, wildlife, and the environment. What's nice is you can walk on your lawn after treatment and children and pets can play on the lawn as well. On my Web site and at my Workshops, many people have expressed concerns about the long-term affects the chemical lawn treatments and products may have on their family, but there are no worries with this organic product.

If you have existing weeds, in addition to applying Organic Lawn Weed and Feed now, you should also spot spray just the weeds you see at this time with Herbicidal Soap Spray. It is an organic weed killer that comes in an easy, ready-to-use spray bottle that you set on the "stream" setting and spray right on the weeds you want to get rid of. It works on dandelions, crabgrass, wild violets, nutsedge, ground ivy, and any plant on which it is sprayed including maple seedlings in flower beds. The combination of using these two products is a "one-two punch" that gets rid of the existing weeds and prevents future weeds before you even see them.

If you use Organic Lawn Weed and Feed along with Herbicidal Soap Spray throughout your entire lawn and garden as I've mentioned you'll no longer have weeds anymore or have to mulch anymore.
