Bay
Laurel (Laurus nobilis) - to 2', Bay leaves were used in
the original Laurel wreaths that crowned poets and scholars. In
modern times, bay leaves are used to add flavor to soup, stew, and
slow-cooked dishes. Their flavor is released over several hours,
unlike most herbs which release their flavor almost immediately. Use
